Position Overview: Assistant Retail Coordinator (Fresh Graduate)
Job Summary:
As an Assistant Retail Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting retail operations across all stores. Your responsibilities will include monitoring supply and demand fluctuations, tracking competitor price trends, managing inventory, coordinating stock orders, and supporting sales and marketing activities.Key Responsibilities:
- Retail Support:
- Assist in retail activities across all stores.
- Monitor and respond to changes in supply and demand dynamics.
- Track competitor price trends to inform pricing strategies.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels across assigned stores.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Identify ageing stock and recommend liquidation strategies.
- Stock Coordination:
- Coordinate stock orders and deliveries across all stores.
- Obtain competitive prices from suppliers to optimize costs.
- Pricing Strategy:
- Coordinate product pricing for all models and brands carried.
- Demonstrate understanding of margins and pricing strategies.
- Sales Support:
- Provide backup support for retail outlets when required.
- Identify wholesale opportunities in the open market to drive sales.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a numerical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Economics, Banking and Finance, Physics, etc.).
- Completion of NYSC mandatory.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Quick learner with a proactive approach to tasks.
